What the service does
myfiletool.com provides online file conversion and processing tools. You upload a file, we convert it, and you download the result.
Free and paid usage
Each tool allows one free file conversion at a time. Batch conversions (multiple files at once) require a one-time payment processed through Stripe. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no hidden fees.
Your files
Files you upload are processed on our servers in Frankfurt, Germany (Akamai). All uploaded files and converted outputs are automatically deleted within 24 hours. We do not access, read, analyze, or share the content of your files.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and convert the files you submit.
Prohibited use
You agree not to: upload files containing illegal content under French or EU law; use the service to distribute malware or harmful software; attempt to overload, disrupt, or exploit the service; use automated tools to make bulk requests beyond normal usage.
We reserve the right to block access to users who abuse the service.
Availability
We do our best to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided as-is. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Limitation of liability
myfiletool.com is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. IX42 is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or damages resulting from the use of this service. Always keep a copy of your original files.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Intellectual property
The myfiletool.com name, logo, and website design are the property of IX42. The conversion tools use open-source libraries (such as ImageMagick and Poppler), which are used under their respective licenses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Creteil, France.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
